There may be a way to enable wifi after the registration of a user, but I don't know what that entails. So what ever was preventing bluetooth from working was related to the enabling of wifi during the registration of a new user rather than the driver. I then re=installed win 10 with an alias and enabled wifi. I installed each of the three possible drivers from the ASUS website, removing the prior driver with revo=uninstall, and none of them revived bluetooth. As for the bluetooth, there's something else going on. I re=install 10 because: The computer gets infected and needs cleaning I am curious as to what it takes to get it up and running there are certain files, "Old Windows" and the artifacts in the registry that are more difficult to remove than just re=installing win, and because I'm selling a computer and want to make sure I didn't leave something in a file somewhere.
